Stage 1 - Meeting to agree on the site brief
This will normally consist of a meeting to discuss in depth what you want from your web site. We will be able to offer suggestions that will lead on to further ideas and help to meet your objectives, offer creative thought to proceed and also talk about any special requirements you may need. At this point we will also advise you on costs and introduce you to our pricing range. We will usually ask for a small deposit before we start work on the site.
We will take as long as it needs to make sure you are happy with the brief and then we can proceed with developing the content for the site, such as text and the provision of photos.
Stage 2 - Early look and feel of the site
We I will provide you with a site which will be previewed on a live demo area so you can see immediately how it will look on the internet. From there we will be able to make any necessary changes to the early design of the site. After the initial template design is decided upon, the rest of the site shouldn't take too long to build.
Stage 3 - Adding content to the site
At this point, you will need to provide all the content for the web site, all text must be in electronic form. Images should preferably be of electronic form, but it is usually possible to use scans from printed material dependent on the original quality. If so desired, we can take photos, at an extra cost, for site inclusion. Any copyright problems will need to be sorted out at this point.
Stage 4 - Testing and Amends
Once the web site is completed, final tests will be undertaken on different platforms to make sure the web site functions and looks appealing to the majority of users. Email, forms etc will also be tested. During this time you can check the site for any amendments. After this process the web site will be put live. You will then be billed for job completion.
Stage 5 - Maintenance
If your web site needs maintaining, an agreement can be drawn up, as required. As a matter of customer service you'll be informed of any technological advances, which may improve the performance of your web site.
